He also believed that sharing our\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eknowledge\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003eand\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cstrong\u003ediscoveries\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003ewould help make the world a better place.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn 145 years, we haven’t strayed from that vision. This is still a destination for excellent, ambitious scholars and a world leader in teaching and research. Distinguished professors mentor students in the arts and music, humanities, social and natural sciences, engineering, international studies, education, business, and the health professions.
